How to connect your iPhone (or iPod Touch) to UF's VPN network

First start off by tapping on the Settings icon on your home screen.
  
Then in the Settings section, tap on General.
  
Now tap on the Network option.
  
Here select VPN.
  
Now tap the "Add VPN Configuration..." button
  
Here make sure that you are setting up an "L 2 TP?" connection.
  
You should now type in "Gator Link VPN" for the description and then l2tp.vpn.ufl.edu as the server. Make sure to type in your Gator Link user name and password. The secret is "gator+vpn!" Don't forget to tap Save at the top.
  
Back at the Network section, turn ON the VPN and make sure that Gator Link VPN is selected and it should automatically connect you. When you're connected to the VPN network, you will see a small "VPN" symbol next to the wireless antenna icon.
