Connecting to the Apple TV

iPad/iPhone Instructions

(iPhone 5 or later, iPad 3rd gen or later, iPod Touch 5th gen or later)

1. Select the Apple button the podium keypad

2. Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your Apple Device

3. Swipe up from the bottom of your screen to access Control Center

4. Tap Airplay

5. Tap the name of the Apple TV you wish to Airplay to (name of classroom), then tap Mirroring. It will then ask for a code which the Apple TV will display on the projector/TV. Once enabled, your iOS device's screen will be mirrored on your Apple TV

MacBook Instructions

(Mac 2012 or later with OS X Yosemite v10.10 or later)

1. Select the Apple button the podium keypad

2. Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your Apple Device

3. Click the AirPlay icon in the menu bar, then choose the name of the Apple TV (name of classroom) under "Connect to AirPlay Display." The icon is blue when your Mac is using an AirPlay display

4. Or use Displays preferences. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences > Displays > choose the Apple TV from the AirPlay Display menu at the bottom of the window.

Connecting to the Wireless Display (WiDi)

  • Wi-Fi on your mobile device needs to be enabled
  • To mirror your Android or Windows device you will need to select the WiDi button on the podium keypad
  • Once selected, you will see the projector display the screen mirroring name
  • On Anroid devices you will need to navigate to your cast-screen settings and select the projector's screen mirroring name
  • On Windows 8.1 devices swipte from the right edge and open charms. Select Devices followed by Project. Then select add a wireless display and select the projector's screen mirroring name
  • On Windows 10 devices press the Windows key + P on your keyboard and select screen mirroring name from device list. Or swipe from right edge and select Media Devices
  • On Windows phones tap Settings, then Project my screen
