What's Our Mission?
The Reading and Writing Center (RWC) is committed to helping University of Florida students become better writers and readers. We aim to support independent learning and encourage scholarship by fostering writing and reading skills. We provide individual assistance to those wishing to develop their writing, better understand the writing process, and improve reading comprehension and study skills. Students of all levels and disciplines are welcome!
Fall Hours: Monday - Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Fridays from 10:00 to 3:00.
Scheduling news: We encourage all students to call ahead -- our number is 392-6420 -- to make an appointment. You will be most likely to see a tutor as a walk-in during our double coverage hours.
Double Coverage Hours:

Tuesday 12:00 - 4:00
Wednesday 11:30 - 1:30; 2:00 - 3:00
Thursday 12:00 - 4:00
Friday 12:30-2:00

We've got 10 study skills videos on the site. The videos cover the most common weaknesses for which most college students seek help, including the following:

We have also posted 3 videos geared toward study strategies for various times during the term: Study Skills Tips for the Beginning of a Semester, the Middle of a Semester, and the End of a Semester.
