How can we help your students with reading and study skills?
If your students would benefit from meeting with a reading comprehension or study skills specialist, please let them know about our learning strategies improvement program, which is free to all University of Florida students. RWC Director Dr. Martin Simpson will develop an individual program of practice and instruction to assist students:
- think critically about reading
- enhance reading speed and comprehension
- master the textbook, including charts and graphs
- improve note-taking in class
- better manage their time
- alleviate test anxiety and improve test preparation
- strengthen recall and memory
